Sustainability

Sustainability is our passion and our promise

At In-Build, sustainability is at the core of our operations. We use locally sourced, recyclable materials, minimise waste and design products for circular reuse. Our eco-conscious production, packaging and transport practices ensure a reduced environmental impact. Where we can, we use recycled surfaces for production from our sister company Kava Surfaces.

Production

From start to finish, every step has been designed with sustainability in mind to ensure a responsible production process.

  • Our materials are sourced locally and much of it from waste
  • Most adhesives are water based where possible
  • All pressing is done on a low heat

Waste & Recycling

We generally don’t produce any waste that can’t be recycled. We deal with waste responsibly by:

  • Repurposing or designing with multiple uses in mind
  • Choosing materials that can be recycled or reused either by us or elsewhere
  • Ensuring off-cuts are used for other products

Circular

We are a circular business which means that:

  • Everything we put out could come back to us to recycle. We re-use and recycle our own waste. We have an end-of-life return policy in place, meaning when you are finished with your material, you can send it back to us, and we’ll make something new from it

Transport

We ensure that:

  • Minimal journeys are made for material collection by reducing collection dates and planning them efficiently
  • There are lift-share opportunities
